A new vocation

I know! It is changing everyday!

My new future plan is to work in a farm. I really love it. The life in a countryside village is so peaceful. The close contact to nature is great. You do physical work which is healthy. You respire good air. There are a lot of different jobs: watering, planting, cutting, seeding, nursing, composting, sieving... In the coming weeks we will also go to schools to teach children about organic farming, do illustrations of the medicinal plants to put in the demo house which is under construction. By the end of this month we should get 1 cow and 1 calf. It's really exciting and at the same time so quiet. Today we saw how people harvest the coconuts and had fresh coconut juice under the tree!

We are 2 volunteers working in the model farm. Susan is english and 62. She's a very dynamic person. A retired teacher. She has a lot of ideas. The model farm is growing all kind of medicinal plants. So everyday we learn about specific virtues of plants.

We have rooms in a big family house and we have the meals in another family. They are all very kind.
