The work

The first 2 weeks were very easy. I went to the school 1 day, saw 2 classes, presented myself, talked a little with the pupil and that was it! Because the Winter holidays started. They have 3 weeks holidays.

So last week and this week I was working in jail. The workload increased: 9 hours. 3 hours with the guards and 6 hours with the women prisoners. With the guards, when I arrive, there is always someone saying "we have to suspend the class" for any reason: no room, an important meeting so the guards cannot attend...But in the end, I always do the class. It goes well. Last time we spent 45 min on an exercice I thought it would last 5 min. I have some problems to assess the level of the pupils....

With the interns it's chaotic. Yesterday I brought a song. The radio was not loud enough to cover the sound of the washing machine in the next room....The girls are coming and going depending if they see it entertaining or not. Some of them are sleeping all day long. It's a pity. Others are really nice, seem happy, angels...

That's how it goes. It takes some time to prepare but I don't suffer from an overload of work.

The holidays are finishing. Next week, I'll go to school again so I guess I'll work more.
